EXPOSURE
STRICT HYGIENE!

  • INHALATION
    		• Burning sensation. Cough. Nausea. Shortness of breath.
    		Local exhaust or breathing protection.
    		Fresh air, rest. Half-upright position. Artificial respiration if indicated. Refer for medical attention.
  • SKIN
    		• Redness. Pain.
    		Protective gloves.
    		Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap. Refer for medical attention.
  • EYES
    		• Redness. Pain. Blurred vision. Permanent partial loss of vision.
    		Face shield or eye protection in combination with breathing protection.
    		First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible), then take to a doctor.
  • INGESTION

    		• Do not eat, drink, or smoke during work. Wash hands before eating.
    		Rinse mouth. Give plenty of water to drink. Rest. Refer for medical attention.
    SPILLAGE DISPOSAL STORAGE PACKAGING & LABELLING
    Sweep spilled substance into plastic sealable containers; if appropriate, moisten first to prevent dusting. Carefully collect remainder, then remove to safe place (extra personal protection: self-contained breathing apparatus).
    		Separated from food and feedstuffs. Dry. Keep in a well-ventilated room.
    		Do not transport with food and feedstuffs.

     COLOURLESS TO GREY CRYSTALS.

     The substance decomposes on heating and on burning producing toxic and corrosive fumes including hydrogen chloride.

    OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE LIMITS (OELs):
     TLV: 0.05 ppm; 0.32 mg/m3 (ACGIH 1993-1994).


    		ROUTES OF EXPOSURE:
     The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhalation.

    INHALATION RISK:
     A harmful contamination of the air will be reached rather slowly on evaporation of this substance at 20░C.

    EFFECTS OF SHORT-TERM EXPOSURE:
     Tear drawing. The substance irritates the eyes, the skin and the respiratory tract. Inhalation of vapour or aerosol may cause lung oedema (see Notes). The effects may be delayed. Medical observation is indicated.

    EFFECTS OF LONG-TERM OR REPEATED EXPOSURE:
     Repeated or prolonged contact with skin may cause dermatitis. Repeated or prolonged contact may cause skin sensitization.
